This Egyptian classic has been a favorite since the 11th century, and if you’ve never had it I’d love to introduce you. Made of shredded phyllo dough, loaded with Turkish pistachios, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, and a hint of coconut, my kunafa is then baked to a crunchy golden brown, dusted with crumbled pistachio, and sweetened with my homemade syrup.
